Hadleigh Court is quite a modest estate, due to its being used primarily as a residence from the early 1700s, but it's lands have been selectively cleared for very productive farming and an extensive apple orchard, providing quite a significant source of employment in the neighbourhood. It also contains an excellent terrain for country riding, Mr Delaford having set up a course for his enthusiastic circle and a very small fishing lake can be found on the approach to the house, making it a lovely little recreational spot for those visiting the family in the country.
