England, 1811 Mr Charles Bingley and his merry party of have settled into Netherfield Park for the summer, much to the delight and general intrigue of those nearby. Rumor has it he is a man of great consequence and a good fortune -- and must therefore be in want of a wife. What sort of women are his two sisters, Mrs Louisa Hurst and Miss Caroline Bingley? And what of that Mr Fitzwilliam Darcy? A enigmatic air surrounds him, whether for good or ill, moneyed as he is or not...
The plot begins as Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice begins, though where you take it from there is entirely up to you. Do Darcy and Elizabeth fall in love after all, or are their differences indeed insurmountable? Is Bingley successfully swayed against marrying Jane? Does Wickham run away with Georgiana?
Original characters and Estates are welcome, and two houses, Whittlesey (old money) and Greenwood (new money), have been so far provided. Play in any class: noble, merchant, middle, working, servant, or regiment. The entirety of Jane Austen's English society is subject to your own creativity! Have fun!
